The Tunisian Interior Ministry decided to impose a curfew on Douz city starting from Friday at 8 p.m. to Saturday at 6 a.m.

In a press release on Friday, the ministry said this comes to maintain security and protect citizens' lives after clashes that erupted earlier when protesters besieged sabotaged security facilities in the city.

Earlier, 12 security forces were injured during the clashes.
