A current night curfew in Tunis will be lifted when the state of emergency, declared following a terrorist attack, ends, said Interior Minister Najem Gharsalli on Saturday.

"It will not last for more than the 30-day-long term of the state of emergency," Gharsalli said.

On Tuesday, shortly following the terrorist attack which left 12 people dead and 20 wounded, the Tunisian president announced the state of emergency.

The attack targeted a presidential guard bus in a main road in Tunisia.
