Tanta - Arab Today
The custody of four supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood was renewed for further 45 days pending investigations over riots in the Gharbiya governorate's city of Tanta.
They were charged with provoking riots, disrupting public security, belonging to an outlawed group.
In December 2013, the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a 'terrorist organization', blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide, including their regular protests.
Most leaders along with thousands of members of the group have been tried and sentenced so far.
