The custody of eight supporters of Muslim Brotherhood group was renewed for further 15 days over riots.

They face charges of instigating violence in Gharbiya's cities of Mahalla, Samanoud, and Zefta.

In December 2013, the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a 'suicide organization', blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide, including their regular protests.
