Daesh militant group claimed responsibility for the attack that occurred outside the residence of internationally recognized Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi in the seaside port city of Aden, Al Arabiya News Channel reported.

A car bombing has rocked the external entrance of Al-Ma’asheeq residence where Hadi is living.

Officials said Hadi was inside his residence at the time of the attack and was unharmed.

The attack killed at least eight and injured 21 others.
