Daesh is a bloody entity that aims to fragment the current regimes and draw up a new map, said former Arab League secretary general Amr Moussa.
He further said that he followed up with great concern the terrorist attacks, which took place over the past period in the Mediterranean Basin.
In statements issued by Moussa's media bureau, Moussa said that Daesh is currently waging a terrorism war to make geopolitical changes in the Middle East and North Africa.
"Confronting terrorism and thwarting division schemes start from inside our societies," he said, adding that efforts should be exerted by all sides to attain cultural renaissance and advance religious speech.
He also underlined the importance of attaining Arab unity and joint interests.
"The Arab countries are all in one boat, if it sinks, we all sink together," he added.
