Daesh militants have kidnapped 120 people in the Tikrit district of Salahaddin province.
Salahaddin Provincial Council said on Tuesday that Daesh militants kidnapped 120 men from Al Abid and Al Mesare tribes from Rubeyda village in east Tikrit.
The council urged the Iraqi forces to rescue the kidnapped men from their captors before being executed.
Clashes in the region intensified after Daesh seized control in some regions including Mosul.
