Daesh terrorist group seized some villages in northern Syria near the Turkish borders during an attack that targeted Marea city in Aleppo countryside, said Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on Thursday.

The extremist organization was involved in confrontations with the Syrian opposition that has been engaged in war with the regime forces since years, Sky News Channel quoted the SOHR as saying.

Daesh attacked Aleppo countryside amid news about the intention of Turkey and the US to launch air raids to force out the terrorist group from the borders adjacent to the Syrian territories.
