The militant group of Daesh aims to drive a wedge between Egypt and Libya, former Egyptian foreign minister Mohamed el-Oraby said.
Speaking to Saudi “Okaz” newspaper, Oraby urged the Libyan authorities to investigate militant operations targeting Egyptian Copts.
Assaulting and detaining Egyptians in Libya is unacceptable, he said.
