The death toll from a terrorist attack on Imperial Marhaba Hotel in the Tunisian resort city of Sousse rose to 27, including a gunman.

The perpetrator of the terrorist attack was killed, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry said Friday.

Security troops have cordoned off the area and will start a combing operation soon.

Almost all the victims are tourists, the spokesman said, adding that it is yet to be known if any Tunisians are among the casualties.
