The Egyptian defense attaché in Berlin stressed that the Egyptian army will remain as it has always been the defender of Egypt. 

During a ceremony organized by the Egyptian embassy in Berlin on the October war anniversary, he highlighted distinguished relations between the Egyptian people and army.

During the ceremony, Egyptian Ambassador Badr Abdel Ati hailed the depth of Egyptian-German relations.

Representatives from the German defense ministry attended the ceremony alongside Arab and foreign defense attaches in Berlin.
