Minister of Defense and Military Production Sedki Sobhi attended on Tuesday the main phase of a strategic exercise that is carried out by formations from the Southern military zone.

Codenmened "Khaled 18", the several-day exercise is part of an annual training plan. 

It coincides with the Armed Forces' celebrations of Sinai Liberation Day.

Sobhi praised the distinguished performance of the servicemen of the southern military zone in carrying out the training tasks.
