Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Colonel General Sedqi Sobhi attended a ceremony to honor Armed Forces leaders who reached the age of retirement in January 2016.

During the ceremony, Sobhi granted them the Medal of the Republic from the second class, authorized by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

Sobhi also hailed the role of the retired army leaders in preserving the Armed Forces in confronting difficulties and challenges.
