A delegation of the Libyan interim government will visit Russia soon, deputy prime minister Abdel Rahman al Hayrash was quoted by Sputnik as saying Monday.

The Libyan delegation is hoping to get offers from Moscow that would serve the Libyan people, al Hayrash said.

The Libyan foreign minister had visited Russia and was warmly received, al Hayrash noted.

Hopefully, the next visit would be more effective, al Hayrash said.

Libya, he added, is seeking to have fruitful cooperation with Russia.
