The National Dialogue Mechanism has called for achieving a breakthrough in the negotiations in Addis Ababa.
In a press statement, the member of the mechanism, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, has considered start of the negotiations with Darfur movements in Addis Ababa as an important step which will be followed by other steps for reaching agreement on the two areas of the Blue Nile and South Kordofan.
He said that the National Dialogue Mechanism has called on the negotiating parties in Addis Ababa to reach solutions for ending the war and paving the way for a national dialogue conducive to realization of security and stability in Sudan.
Dr. Ismail indicated that the mechanism has reviewed a detailed report on the negotiations in Addis Ababa on the two areas, the detailed media plan, the joint report of the opposition and the government, implementation of the outcome of the general assembly meeting, adding that the mechanism will meet with the women representatives next week.
On the other hand, member of the mechanism, Kamal Omer, said that dialogue is the basic means to solve Sudan problems, stating that dialogue is a loft value for solving Sudan problems.
He said that they held contacts with the national consensus forces to convince them to participate in the national dialogue, indicating that the contacts will continue with all forces.
He expressed his rejection to any supervision of the international community to the national dialogue.
