President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi

Djibouti's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahmoud Youssef affirmed that Egypt, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, restored its pivotal role in the Arab World and Africa.

Emerging from a meeting between Djibouti's President Ismail Omar Guelleh and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Monday, Youssef said that Egypt has positive proposals to resolve the Yemeni crisis and that such proposals were referred to President Guelleh.

For his part, Shoukry said that Egypt coordinate with Djibouti on the developments in the Horn of Africa and means to confront terrorism and piracy.

Shoukry conveyed President Sisi's greetings to President Guelleh and discussed with him the development of relations between the two countries.
