Arab League

The Arab League Council on Sunday adopted a draft resolution providing Arab full solidarity with Lebanon in order to preserve it's unity, security, stability and sovereignty.
At a meeting at the level of permanent delegates, the Council referred the draft resolution to the meeting of the Arab League foreign ministries.
The draft resolution stresses Lebanon's right to resist any attack through lawful and available means.
It also called on the international community to implement the UN Security Council Resolution 1701 that was intended to resolve the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict.
