A truck driver was sentenced to 10 years in jail and a EGP 50,0000 fine for causing the death of 18 students in a crash on Cairo/Alexandria highway.
Investigations showed that the students were killed when Mahmoud Husein el-Naggar, who was driving under the influence of drugs, crashed into three other vehicles on a desert road in the Nile Delta north of Cairo, earlier this month.
