Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab agreed to establish a new sector for human rights at the Transitional Justice Ministry.
Speaking to reporters Sunday, Transitional Justice Minister Ibrahim el Heneidi said he proposed the idea of the new sector to the premier, who agreed to it.
The new sector will be in charge of human rights files and will coordinate with the National Council for Human Rights on them, he said.
