Egypt's Ambassador to Palestine Wael Nasr El-Din participated Thursday in a funeral held for the Palestinian minister, who was killed in a West Bank protest yesterday.
Ziad Abu Ein died after an Israeli border policeman shoved and grabbed him by the throat during a protest in the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Rami al-Hamdallah were present.
Earlier, Nasr El-Din offered condolences to the Palestinian nation.
He also stressed Egypt's support for the Palestinian people in their endeavors to establish an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders.
