Mohamed Badr Eddin

Egypt's Ambassador in Beirut Mohamed Badr Eddin said on Friday that Egypt is keen on ending the seven-month presidential vacuum in Lebanon as soon as possible.
Badr Eddin called for launching a political dialogue in the state to choose a new president.
The ambassador made the statements following a visit to former Lebanese president Michel Suleiman.
"Lebanon should restore its vital cultural role in the region," he said.
