Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Badr el Din Zayed discussed on Monday with former Lebanese prime minister and head of the Future bloc Fouad Siniora the situation in Lebanon, the region and bilateral relations.

In statements to MENA the Egyptian ambassador said they had an in-depth discussion on the current regional situation.

The ambassador reaffirmed Egypt's stance to spare Lebanon regional tension and protect the country's coexistence.
