Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine Wael Nasr el Din Attia said on Friday that serious contacts are underway with the Israeli authorities to ease tensions in Al Quds. 

Speaking to MENA reporter in Ramallah, the diplomat said Israeli aggressive security reactions and depression have increased tension in the occupied city of Al Quds. 

"The difficult conditions in the occupied territories and the tough Israeli security will lead to nothing but explosion", Attia said.

He asserted the necessity of a just and fair peace solution to the Palestinian cause.
