Egypt's Ambassador to the US Mohamed Tawfik offered condolences to the Saudi government and people over the death of their King Abdullah ben Abdel Aziz.
Speaking at a reception the embassy held to mark the fourth anniversary of the January 25 revolution, he said sadly, the Arab nation had lost the Saudi king.
King Abdullah died early Friday at the age of 90.
