Egypt's Ambassador to Yemen Yousef el Sharqawi held on Sunday a meeting with Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdel Latif al Zayyani.

They discussed ways of bolstering ties between the Gulf states and Egypt during the coming period.

They tackled also the situation in Yemen and efforts exerted to resume peaceful political talks there.
