Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister Hisham Badr asserted Egypt's full and continuous support to Palestinians in their bid to establish an independent state with al-Quds (East Jerusalem) as its capital.
This came during Badr's speech on behalf of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
Meanwhile, Badr reviewed Egypt's efforts to support Palestinians especially at the United Nations Security Council and regional organizations.
The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is celebrated annually on November 29 beginning from 1978.
