Egypt has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Al Imam Al Sadeq Mosque in al Sawaber neighborhood in Kuwait city.
The attack on the Shiite mosque earlier Friday left dozens of worshipers dead and wounded.
In a press statement, Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said that such heinous act has nothing to do with Islam.
He offered his heartfelt condolences to families of the dead, hoping a speedy recovery for the injured.
Abdel Aati expressed Egypt's solidarity with the Kuwait government and people in fighting terrorism, which harms security and stability of the region and the world.
