Cairo - MENA
Egypt has strongly condemned terror attacks that targeted three mosques in Yemen and left about 31 people dead and dozens others injured.
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati stressed Egypt's firm stance, rejecting sectarianism and supporting legitimacy to restore stability and security in Yemen.
Egypt offers deepest condolences to Yemen and families of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery, said the spokesman.
Daesh said it was behind the blasts in a statement posted online. The group said that four car bombs targeted two areas of worship, as well as a house and a center belonging to the Houthi rebels.
