Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Sunday the recent escalation of Israeli military operations in Gaza and its attack on Al-Shejaiya district.
The attacks led to the death of hundreds of Palestinians and thousands injured.
Egyptian people and government stand supportive of the Palestinian people, said a statement issued by the foreign ministry.
