Egypt condemned on Monday a series of Israeli strikes that killed and wounded dozens of Palestinians in different parts of the Gaza Strip.
Egypt also reiterated its stance and rejected all acts of violence that lead to the taking of civilian lives on both sides, and called to exercise restraint and stop the "revenge" policy and collective punishment, Egypt's Foreign Ministry said in statement.
It also called on Israel to stop provocative acts, settlement expansions and attempts to impose a fait accompli, the statement added.
