Egypt's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned a terror blast that targeted Libya's House of Representatives HQs in Tobruk.
The ministry said, in a statement, the criminal incident reflected extremist groups' desire to undermine the Libyan legitimacy.
The statement added that those extremist groups aimed to thwart international efforts to activate Libya's national dialogue, including the UN envoy's efforts to launch a national dialogue session on January 5.
The ministry also reiterated Egypt's full support for the legitimate institutions in Libya and efforts to restore security and stability in the Arab country.
