Egypt has offered its sincerest condolences to Saudi Arabia over the victims of a terrorist attack that targeted a Shiite mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia earlier on Friday.

"Egypt fully supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of brutal terrorism," spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati said.

He offered condolences to the families of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
