Egypt slammed on Thursday Israel's decision to build 200 settlement units in East Jerusalem.
This will hinder efforts aimed at reaching just and comprehensive peace in the region, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Ati said.
He called upon the international community to intervene to stop the Israeli practices in East Jerusalem.
