The Egyptian embassy in Tunisia will facilitate the crossing of stranded nationals from Libya into Tunisia to return home, Egypt's ambassador to Tunisia told MENA Tuesday.
Ayman Musharrafa said the move came in response to the directions of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
A continuous contact between Egypt and Tunisia is underway to safely secure the Egyptians home return.
The Egyptian envoy noted that a consular mission was present at Tunisian borders with Libya to contact citizens in Libya on daily basis and provide necessary assistance.
