The Egyptian Embassy in Paris continued on Friday to receive mourners who came to offer condolences over the demise of Egypt's prosecutor general Hesham Barakat and Egyptian servicemen earlier this week.

The mourners included public figures, and Arab and foreign ambassadors.

Barakat breathed his last in a terrorist attack that targeted his motorcade Monday.

Up to 17 Egyptian soldiers were killed when terrorist groups targeted them in North Sinai.
