Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Sunday with his Ethiopian counterpart Tedros Adhanom to discuss fostering bilateral relations in all fields, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments concerning the implementation of the outcome of the 5th meeting for the joint committee held earlier in Addis Ababa.

They also discussed a number of African issues including the situation in the Horn of Africa and terrorism in Libya.

The meeting also tackled preparations for the unofficial African Union meeting at the level of foreign ministers slated to be held in Ethiopia.
