Fayyoum Governor Wael Makram on Saturday received new security chief Nasser El Abd to discuss security plans in the governorate.

They discussed various security files with regard to utilities.

The two sides agreed to tighten security measures along with increasing security patrols across the day.

They also decided to inaugurate
Yusuf Al Sediq Police Station to provide security services for citizens in the district.

Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar approved the ministry's annual reshuffle last Wednesday, including the appointment of General Nasser El Abd as assistant interior minister for Fayyoum security.
