The executive council of the foreign ministers of the African Union will continue on Tuesday its meetings in preparation for the AU heads of state summit, slated for Thursday.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is planned to lead Egypt's delegation to the event.
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry, who attended today's meeting, was invited along with other AU foreign ministers to a banquet organized by Equatorial Guinean Foreign Minister Agapito Mba Mokuy to discuss means of promoting cooperation.
