Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry left here Saturday wrapping up a several hours' visit, during which he met with King Abdullah II of Jordan and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.
Earlier, the Jordanian king received the top Egyptian diplomat.
During the meeting, the king underlined his country's full support for Egypt and its pivotal role in the region so as to serve the issues of the Arab nation and enhance the joint Arab work.
He expressed his appreciation of the level of relations between the two countries in various fields.
The two sides discussed the efforts exerted to combat terrorism and the extremist ideas to preserve the stability of the region.
