Deputy Foreign Minister Hamdy Luza, who is in charge of the Egyptian expatriates' vote file, said Monday the number of Egyptians who cast their ballots in the second phase of parliamentary elections abroad reached 37,168; 22 percent higher than the turnout for the first phase.
Egyptian expatriates cast their ballots in the second phase of the parliamentary elections on Saturday and Sunday at the premises of 139 diplomatic missions.
Results of the expatriates' voting in the second phase of the elections will be soon announced by the High Election Commission.
