Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Saturday a phone call from his French counterpart Laurent Fabius.
They discussed ways to promote bilateral ties and cooperation in all fields as well as current regional developments.
The top diplomats agreed to have more discussions on the sidelines of a meeting between the EU and Mediterranean states in mid-April.
