Rome - MENA
Italy will not be intimidated by the bombing which targeted the Italian Consulate in Downtown Cairo early Saturday, affirmed the Italian Foreign Ministry.
The powerful explosion left one person killed and four injured, said Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
A security source, meanwhile, said that
a number of unidentified persons had planted a bomb under a car parked outside the Italian Consulate.
The bomb was remotely detonated, a security source told MENA.
Parts of the booby-trapped car were found, the source added.
