Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohamed Badr El Din discussed with Lebanese public security chief Abbas Ibrahim ways to enhance Egyptian-Lebanese cooperation in the field of terrorism combat.
In a press release on Tuesday, Badr El Din said the meeting also addressed the latest developments in Egypt, Lebanon and the Middle East.
Egypt affirms its full support of the efforts exerted by the Lebanese government to achieve peace and stability in Lebanon, the statement said.
Issues of Egyptian workers in Lebanon were also high on the agenda of the meeting, according to the statement.
