Cairo, with four other governments, has become a member of the Drafting Committee of the 13th conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
Egypt, Nigeria, Malawi, Gabon and Tanzania won the membership.
The meeting is currently held in Addis Ababa and will last until Thursday.
Manpower Minister Galal Sorour is leading Egypt's delegation to the ILO Meeting.
Sorour held a meeting with his Libyan counterpart Massoud Mohamed during which they agreed to form a committee to probe pending labor issues between the two countries, a statement by the Manpower Ministry said.
The Minister also met with Somalia's deputy minister of labor Othman Ibrahim on the sidelines of the ILO conference to discuss means of boosting bilateral cooperation in the fields of training and employment, the statement said. It added that the two sides also talked about whether to sign a technical cooperation protocol between them.
