Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry praised on Sunday the cessation of hostilities in Syria.
This move resulted in saving the lives of dozens of Syrians in the past two days, Shoukry said in statements.
He called for maintaining the ceasefire in Syria and handling any violations or disputes there as fast as possible.
Shoukry urged all Syrian parties to abide by the UN Security Council resolution no. 2268 over the cessation of hostilities in Syria.
