Egypt's court

Egypt on Friday strongly rejected remarks made by some countries and organizations on a court ruling that sent 230 defendants to life sentences over charges of rioting, inciting violence and attacking security forces and troops.
"Such remarks on Egypt's court rulings are unacceptable," the State Information Service (SIS) said in a statement.
"According to the Egyptian law, the defendants received a fair trial and stood before a regular judge," the statement said.
"These remarks show a double-standard attitude," it said.
