Egypt rejects remarks by Turkish official on internal affairs

Egypt has rejected remarks by the Turkish presidency spokesman as "an unacceptable interference in its internal affairs."

In statements to MENA, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid described Turkish Presidency Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin as a person "with no capacity."

"Such remarks will not affect Egypt which is moving ahead in stead steps towards development and prosperity," Abu Zeid added.

He urged the Turkish officials to stop intervening in the Egyptian affairs and to pay attention to Turkey's daily violations against its people who demand their right to freedom of expression.
