Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Badr el Din Zayed renewed Egypt's call for the dialogue in Lebanon, which was called for by Speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabil Berri.

Emerging from a meeting with Berri in Beirut on Tuesday, the ambassador said he conveyed to the speaker Egypt's support for the continuation of dialogue.

The Egyptian diplomat asserted Egypt's support for electing a new president for Lebanon, pointing out that he will meet on Wednesday with Lebanese Prime Minister Tamam Sallam within the framework of Egypt's continued support to Lebanon's dialogue.
