Egypt is pursuing all appropriate channels to seek further information and officials are in close contact with local authorities to ensure the safe recovery of nationals who may have been kidnapped in Libya, a diplomatic source told MENA.
Earlier on Saturday, news reports suggested that 13 Egyptians were kidnapped in the Libyan city of Sirte.
