Cairo - MENA
Chairman of teachers syndicate and Head of the Federation of Arab Teachers Khalaf el Zanati said that selecting Egypt as the head to the federation affirmed its role in the Arab world.
In statements to MENA Thursday, Zanati said that this choice came at the 9th conference of the federation in Damascus.
Zanati asserted the importance of strengthening ties between organizations and develop curricula along with removing destructive ideas from them.
Developing ties among the Arab organizations will be reflected on the Arab nations, he said, adding that it helps enabling the Arab teachers to participate in preparing the curricula and mobilizing teachers in the Arab world regionally and locally.
Zanati asserted necessity to put an end to the repeated attacks against the teachers and violating their rights daily in schools via taking deterrent measures that maintain their dignity.
